Section Principal Viola — Lead the Viola in an Orchestra

BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra seeks a Section Principal Viola to join as a permanent member. You will lead the viola section, shape performance standards, and work closely with Leaders and the Chief Conductor to ensure artistic excellence.

The role requires extensive principal viola experience, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across colleagues, management, and guest musicians. Based at City Halls, Glasgow, with a national and international performing schedule.
