Job Role: Family Support Worker

Location: Stourport on Severn (DY13)

Salary: £13.45 – £14.05* per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week, shifts including night duties

Contract Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Take a multifaceted approach to providing support to families in the centre on waking night shifts.
• Ensure the families achieve their desired outcomes by providing practical support and advice.
• Work as part of a qualified and experienced team overseen by the Centre Manager.
• Complete initial assessments of family needs and produce action plans.
• Act as a positive role model, developing trusting relationships that foster recovery, growth, and lasting change.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full UK Driving License – essential.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Professional boundaries with families and children.
• Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including full‑time and night hours.
• Minimum age 21 – all applicants must be over 21 years old.
