First Choice Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Ardmore Children’s Home in Downpatrick for compassionate and
dedicated Residential Support Workers at Band 3, Band 4 and Band 5 level.
The role is based in Downpatrick and offers 37.5 hours per week, working on a rota from Monday to Sunday. The
successful applicants will work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the service.
Shift times include waking nights from 10:00pm to 8:15am, early shifts from 8:00am to 3:30pm, and late shifts from
3:00pm to 10:30pm. Depending on service requirements, staff may also be required to work a combination of long days,
waking nights and sleep-in shifts. Pay rate ranges from £12.75 – £25.41 depending on shift and banding level.
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support, promoting independence and wellbeing, assisting with daily living activities ( personal care/ cooking/ cleaning) , following individual care and behaviour support plans, maintaining accurate records and working closely with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people they support.
What We Need From You:
- Previous experience in Support Work
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- To attend all mandatory training courses
- Undergo an Access NI check
