St Nicholas C of E Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a SEN Support Assistant to support a child in EYFS with an Education and Health Care Plan, 22 hours per week, Fixed-Term (whilst child remains in school). If you are someone who believes that all pupils regardless of their personal circumstances can excel and you have the ability to engage, enthuse and inspire our young people, then this job is for you!
We are looking for someone who can provide the care and support our children need, as well as carrying out interventions to support a child with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidates will work in EYFS and demonstrate adaptability by supporting a child with varying needs (including cognition, communication and SEMH needs) and global development delay. Experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is essential; however, training and ongoing support will be provided for the successful candidate.

- The knowledge of how to support pupils with additional needs.
