Responsibilities
- Lead a small group of talented engineers building and enhancing features for unsplash.com.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (Web, API, Design, Data) to gain a deep understanding of our product, users, and priorities.
- Develop, pitch and deliver product ideas and improvements that align with business needs.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and high standards.
- Maintain and evolve our front‑end platform, ensuring it meets availability/performance needs and is optimized for fast, frictionless development.
- Support team members in their growth and development, empowering them to achieve career goals and deliver exceptional work.
- Use data to drive decisions, insights, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Expert in front‑end technologies including Node, TypeScript, React, Next.js.
- Experience building web applications at scale.
- Experience with functional programming.
- Meaningful experience building features related to Search, SEO, and Ecommerce.
