Academics are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Dunstable area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their successful Science Department from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. The school is committed to delivering high‑quality education and fostering a supportive environment where both staff and students can thrive.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons.
  • Teach Science across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive excellent outcomes for students.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science.
  • Has excellent classroom management skills.
  • Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student success.
  • Is an effective communicator and team player.
