Overview

ICC Hub Admin Assistant (Carlisle) at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The closing date is 23 July 2026.

As ICC Administrative Assistant you will provide clerical support to the ICC Teams, working with other administrators, health and social care professionals to develop the ethos of multi-disciplinary, integrated care and seamless services, ensuring that patient care is delivered to a high standard. The role is predominantly based at Hilltop Heights with occasional coverage at Brampton Hospital and North Carlisle Medical Practice. You will support ICC Therapy equipment administration, fleet vehicle administration, and day-to-day administrative duties to support the wider ICC team.

Main duties

  • Provide administrative support services, including handling queries via telephone and relaying messages as required.
  • Process inbound and outbound mail.
  • Filing, storage, tracking, and archiving of patient records.
  • Ordering stock and maintaining stock control.
  • Word processing, laminating, photocopying and scanning.
  • Minute taking and the creation and maintenance of reports, spreadsheets and correspondence using Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Produce letters and order equipment on behalf of clinical staff.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • Willingness to undertake NVQ level 2 Business Administration
  • NVQ 2 in Business Administration/Customer Service
  • ECDL or equivalent

Knowledge and Experience

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
  • Basic experience in an office environment
  • Understanding of confidentiality

Skills and Aptitude

  • Good organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • IT skills including word processing, spreadsheets, data capture and processing
  • Desk top publishing

Other requirements

  • Adaptable and flexible, able to work with different teams or locations to provide cover
  • Ability to travel independently
