Akkar is seeking a Functional Safety Manager based in the UK to act as the safety subject matter expert for product development. You will collaborate with engineering teams to create safety-compliant solutions by leading the safety engineering processes and defining safety requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, experience in safety engineering within high-integrity industries, and a sound knowledge of military safety standards. Eligibility for UK GOVT security clearance is essential.
