Salary: £100,000 – 100,000 per year

Requirements

  • We require a 1st or 2.1 STEM degree from a top-ranked university.
  • We require extensive industry experience building mission-critical software products used in live environments.
  • We require recent hands-on experience delivering projects in Rust, ideally with the wider Rust ecosystem.
  • We require strong experience with C or C++ and writing efficient, optimal code bases.
  • We require experience working in one or more start-ups and delivering successfully in fast-paced environments.
  • We require experience using LLMs for code prototyping.
  • We require demonstrated leadership qualities, including mentoring, technical leadership, motivation, and contribution to strategy or business.
  • We require full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK, as we cannot offer sponsorship.
  • We require candidates to be based in London or able to travel to London for quarterly in-person strategy meetings.
  • We require openness to occasional overseas travel for client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • We will have the successful candidate work as a senior software engineer in a technical lead and individual contributor role.
  • We will have them work closely with our CTO and software team.
  • We will have them mentor junior team members.
  • We will have them provide project management support.
  • We will have them contribute technical and strategic insight to the business.
  • We will expect them to help deliver fast-paced projects successfully.
  • We will expect them to use modern ML tools for prototyping while applying strong technical judgment to the code being written.
