Job Role – Class 1 Driver (C+E) (Transport & Logistics Industry)
As a Class 1 Driver (C+E) in Tamworth, you will be responsible for completing depot-to-depot deliveries within the transport and logistics industry, ensuring loads are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing 1 depot-to-depot delivery per shift
- Conducting pre- and post-vehicle checks
- Opening and closing trailer curtains when required
- Ensuring all transport paperwork is completed accurately
- Complying with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Delivering excellent standards of professionalism and safety
- Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience
- Good understanding of driver hours legislation
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
