Overview

The company is a well‑respected multi‑faced British success story with over 12 years of experience and 2 million users of their software across the UK. They have recently acquired two other companies, expanding their market presence. We are looking for a Senior Developer / Software Designer who will be influential in designing and developing a large ASP.NET MVC Enterprise solution.

Technical Environment

• ASP.NET MVC, C#, nHibernate, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL Server
• C# (.NET 4.5), WebAPI, WebForms, Angular, Web Services, Async Services
• Continuous Integration development environment, releases every 3 weeks using Scrum

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross‑functional Scrum team with Business Analysts, Software Testers, and UI designers to ensure new and existing functionality is of the highest quality.
• Involve in projects from inception to delivery, using Agile tools, techniques, and best practices to focus on high business value features first.
• Deliver high quality software meeting business needs.
• Develop features at all levels of the software stack, including front‑end user interfaces, APIs, and back‑end services.
• Release software rapidly to test, with production releases every 3 weeks during the Scrum process.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in C#/.NET MVC development.
• Strong background in Architecture and Design.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience with Cloud or SaaS solutions is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of nHibernate, WebAPI, WebForms, Angular, and related web technologies.
