Job Overview

Position: Customer Service Team Member (Delivery Driver)

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire, UK

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week.

Driving Licence Requirements

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• No disqualifications in the past 5 years.
• Must be over 18 due to alcohol product deliveries.
• Good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries and other items to customers on time.
• Pre‑plan routes using automated technology and preload van.
• Maintain punctuality and customer service standards during all shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Collect payments and ensure accurate handling of orders.
• Report any incidents or vehicle issues promptly.
• Participate in safety briefings and adhere to company safety protocols.

Job Details

• Pay: £13.26 per hour (average), with evening and Sunday premiums.
• Shift pattern: 8‑hour shifts, any 5 days out of 7, AM or PM, earliest 05:30, latest 12:00.
• Paid breaks: all breaks paid.
• Hourly rates: Basic £12.75; Evening premium £1.12; Sunday day premium £1.28; Sunday evening premium £2.51; Overtime rates: Monday‑Saturday day shift £15.94, evening shift £17.06.
• Pay structure: paid monthly/4‑weekly cycle.
• Location: Corby, Northamptonshire, UK.
