Summary
This vacancy will be based in our new Gloucester office and will involve learning how to process and produce corporate accounts alongside our lead accountant Lauren Wilson. Other duties will include client administration and contact.
Wages
£14,144 to £22,471.28, depending on your age.
National Minimum Wage
Minimum wage rates for the age of applicant.

Hours
Monday to Friday (hours to be confirmed); 34 hours a week.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by gaining hands‑on experience.
What You’ll Do at Work
- Assist Lauren in contracting and helping clients on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Produce and learn corporate accounts and process transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices.

Office 1, The Forum, 5 7 Cathedral Walk, Gloucester, GL1 1DF.
Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You will study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

Gloucestershire College.
Course Contents
- Record transactional data.
- Use the organisation’s standard tools and processes to examine data and identify transactional issues, such as reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.
- Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
- Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon and tailoring language to the audience and media.
- Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data for routine accounting tasks.
- Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, including backing up data.
Training Schedule
- AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
- College delivery half a day per week, or a blended approach with half a day in college one week and half a day online the following week.
