The successful candidate will play a key role within the department’s leadership team, contributing to the operational management and delivery of high‑quality MRI services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor departmental performance and staff‑related KPIs.
- Maintain professional standards and support the delivery of safe, effective, patient‑centred care.
- Provide clear clinical leadership for the day‑to‑day organisation of the departmental section in accordance with professional and departmental protocols.
- Oversee radiographic, admin and clerical staff, assistant practitioners, radiology assistants and students within a designated area or department.
- Carry out the full range of imaging duties within the specialised area, consistently achieving a high standard.
Qualifications
- Extensive UK experience as an MRI Radiographer.
- Proven ability to work within a busy clinical environment and contribute to service development and operational excellence.
- Strong people‑management skills and a passion for continuous service improvement.
- Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards while ensuring compassionate, patient‑focused care at all times.
