Sports Coach to Teaching Assistant: SEMH Support

Prospero Teaching is seeking Teaching Assistants with a Sports Coaching background to support pupils with SEMH in a Sunderland Alternative Provision. This full-time, long-term role starts September 2026.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, developing understanding of pupils’ learning styles and needs, collaborating with teachers to ensure progress and engagement across the school. The school values supportive culture and long-term impact.
