Grounds Maintenance Operatives

Simple Recruitment has a great opportunity for candidates to join our client based in Bath as Grounds Maintenance Operatives and Landscapers on a temporary ongoing basis.

Monday to Thursday – 7.30am till 3.30pmFriday – 7.30am – 3.00pm

Weekly PayHoliday Accrual

What you will be doing

• Driving to various sites to keep the areas up to a professional standard
• Use of heavy machinery ie: large pedestrian mower, cow horn strimmer and 2 stroke hedge cutters etc.
• Tasks may include trimming, raking and weeding to ensure the upkeep in various areas
• Horticultural knowledge, knowing the gardening basics would be an advantage
• Watering of new tree stock
• Ensure footpaths and other hard surfaces are in a clean condition
• Providing a service to the public
• Other duties as required

What you need to have

• The role requires candidates to hold a full driving licence as you will be driving to various sites across Bath and the local area.
• You will enjoy working outdoors and be happy to work in any weather conditions.
• You will need to be physically fit, punctual and reliable as you will be working as part of a team.
