The successful candidate will work across a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including air conditioning systems, water chillers, and DX refrigeration systems, while leading the on-site engineering team and maintaining strong client relationships.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm (42.5 hours per week). On‑call rota: 1 week in every 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repair and service work.
- Maintain air conditioning, water chillers, and DX refrigeration systems.
- Lead and coordinate the on‑site engineering team.
- Ensure all maintenance records and service reports are completed accurately.
- Liaise directly with the customer regarding ongoing and completed works.
- Support the planning and organisation of future maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer.
- City & Guilds 2079 Refrigerant Handling Certificate (F‑Gas).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong fault‑finding and maintenance experience across commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- IPAF Certification.
- PASMA Certification.
- Relevant Skill Card.
Compensation & Benefits
- £21.00 per hour.
- £150 per week on‑call retainer.
