Senior Site Engineer – Leisure Project
Location: Yeovil
Salary: Excellent basic salary + car allowance + bonus + fully expensed travel + benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary main contractor on a major leisure project in Yeovil.

The Role
As Senior Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Managing QA processes and as‑built surveys
- Producing and working to Inspection and Test Plans
- Concrete testing and quality checks
- Providing dig levels for excavation works, including drainage, piling and groundworks
- Acting as drawing coordinator and providing technical support to site teams
- Carrying out GIA surveys
- Reviewing and appraising method statements
- Supporting temporary works management
- Liaising with the client, architect and structural engineer to resolve construction and design issues
- Reporting directly to the Project Manager
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Senior Site Engineer on construction projects
- Strong setting out and QA experience
- Experience working on groundworks, drainage, piling and concrete packages
- Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with site teams, project managers and external consultants
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
