Responsibilities

• Provide both NHS and private services, including emergency prescriptions and urgent care.
• Dispense medication, deliver services, manage the pharmacy team, and provide excellent care to all patients.
• Conduct contractual and enhanced services in line with company SOPs and professional GPhC guidelines and standards.
• Report directly to the Pharmacy Practice Manager to support delivery of agreed KRAs, help achieve deliverable metrics, review performance and engage with colleagues for continuous improvement.
• Provide regular feedback, business updates, and opportunities to gain further accreditations for additional services funded by Asda.
• Access support from in‑store, regional and home‑office teams for clinical or service based queries.

Working Hours / Rota

The role follows a rotating weekly rota:Week1: Saturday09:00‑21:00, Monday09:00‑21:00, Wednesday09:00‑21:00, Friday09:00‑21:00.Week2: Monday09:00‑21:00, Tuesday09:00‑21:00, Thursday09:00‑21:00, Friday09:00‑21:00.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
• Excellent customer and patient care skills.
• Driven and ambitious to ensure the pharmacy meets business targets.
• Proven leadership skills in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
• Valid GPhC registration and evidence of the right to work in the UK.
• Relevant safeguarding qualifications.
• Required to undergo a DBS check and enrol in the live update service.
• Must demonstrate qualifications and identity through appropriate documentation.
