Based in London with a hybrid working model requiring 1-2 days in the office per week, this role offers a chance to lead a dynamic data science team, spearhead complex analytical projects, and deliver measurable business impact for prominent consumer brands. As a key player within the organization, you will oversee experimentation, advanced modeling, and data integration initiatives, working closely with cross‑functional teams including analytics, data engineering, and technology. Your expertise will help shape long‑term analytical roadmaps and ensure that data‑driven insights translate into tangible commercial results.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in data analysis and modeling, with demonstrated experience in a commercial setting.
  • Proficiency in SQL is essential.
  • Deep understanding of experimentation methodologies such as incrementality testing, causal inference, geo‑based testing, and brand lift studies.
  • Hands‑on experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM), lifetime value (LTV) modeling, and propensity scoring is required.
  • Comfortable deploying models into cloud environments and integrating them into advertising platforms like Google and Meta.
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring teams is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Additional exposure to attribution modeling is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute complex analytical projects that drive strategic marketing decisions.
  • Lead experimentation initiatives, including incrementality testing, geo‑based studies, brand lift assessments, and causal inference analyses.
  • Manage advanced modeling projects such as MMM, LTV, and propensity scoring, focusing on deploying models into cloud environments and integrating them into advertising platforms like Google and Meta.
  • Develop and guide long‑term analytical roadmaps, ensuring projects produce measurable commercial value.
  • Collaborate with high‑profile clients to apply rigorous analytical thinking to solve real‑world marketing challenges, often working directly with raw data.
  • Mentor and support a growing team of data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Benefits

The organization offers a competitive salary of up to £65,000, complemented by a flexible hybrid working arrangement that includes one day per week in the London office. You will have the opportunity to lead a growing data science function, gaining significant ownership and influence over analytical projects. Working with large‑scale datasets from major consumer brands, you will be at the forefront of innovative data applications in marketing. The company fosters a culture that values innovation, strategic thinking, and impactful analytics, providing an environment where your skills can flourish and contribute to meaningful business outcomes. Additionally, there are ample opportunities for professional development, networking, and career progression within a forward‑thinking organization.
