Job Overview
We’re currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our business as an integral part of the club team providing a first‑class service to our Clubs. Reporting into the Head of Facilities, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the condition of the clubs, internally and externally, including all equipment, plant, materials, fixtures, fittings and finishes, maintaining the highest standards at all times.
The Engineer will ensure that sufficient processes are adhered to, all necessary reactive and planned repairs are executed in an efficient and cost‑effective way, and that all health & safety requirements are upheld. The role also involves supporting the Regional Facilities Manager to ensure regular maintenance activities are completed effectively and carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and general repairs.
Qualifications
- Planned & scheduled daily, weekly and monthly routine and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure fully operational facilities and high standards of finish and condition at all times.
- A sound understanding of Electricity at Work and Health / Safety at Work regulations & best practice.
- Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems – HVAC.
- Computer literate, preferably with experience of planned maintenance systems.
- Proven practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance.
- Proven practical experience and knowledge of electrical systems both single and three phase.
- Experience working with external contractors/suppliers.
Travel
While you will be based in one particular club for this role, an expectation to travel between clubs depending on operational needs exists.
