Job Description:

Salary: £25,000 – 29,000 per year

  • We require a minimum of 2 years experience in IT support.
  • We are looking for familiarity with hardware components including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices.
  • We need someone who can work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The ability to travel to client sites as needed is required.
  • Applicants must live in or close to Swansea, Wales, and be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting.
  • Applicants must be available for a roster that includes weekend working.
  • Candidates must have current working rights in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

  • We will have you provide first- and second-line technical support to our customers as part of our support desk team.
  • We will have you support hardware equipment including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices.
  • We will have you support a wide range of software across multiple industries.
  • You will carry out on-site visits for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
  • You will elevate issues to Senior Technicians or vendors when necessary.
  • You will maintain knowledge of the latest hardware and software trends and technologies.
  • You will communicate with customers in person and by phone, providing clear advice and support.
  • You will respond promptly to service issues and requests.
  • You will work collaboratively with the team and take a proactive approach to problem-solving.
