£43,000 – £47,000 + 6.7k Car Allowance plus overtime, door‑to‑door travel, full industry/product training, and a 7 % pension contribution.

Hybrid workshop and field work – split between the company workshop in Corby and nationwide travel to client sites, with occasional stayaways.

Excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to step into a hybrid workshop/field position and receive comprehensive training in a niche technical product range.

The Role:

• Installation, maintenance, repair and support of packaging machinery and equipment.
• Perform mechanical tasks such as welding, machining and fitting.
• Receive industry‑specific training and product knowledge.
• Work both in the Corby workshop and on national field assignments.
• Travel door‑to‑door with a car allowance and overtime.

The Individual:

• Mechanical Service Engineer or similar background.
• Any engineering or machinery experience will be considered.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Corby.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Ex‑Armed Forces or REME experience considered an advantage.
