Family Hub Practitioner
Make a real difference to children, young people and families in your community. We are seeking a passionate and proactive Family Hub Practitioner to support children, young people and their families by delivering early help services. This role works within our integrated Family Hub model, taking a whole‑family approach to improve outcomes, build resilience, and help families access the right support at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with schools, health services, police, community organisations and volunteers to co‑create high‑quality early help programmes.
- Plan and deliver evidence‑based and child‑centred programmes and workshops for families at all ages.
- Support community engagement by identifying and fostering new opportunities for families.
- Analyse data and information to shape services and improve outcomes through partnership and innovation.
- Provide one‑to‑one and group support, building trusting relationships with families from diverse communities.
- Actively engage in safeguarding practices and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of early help frameworks.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field such as early years, health, community development or family support services.
- Demonstrated experience in working with partner agencies, delivering programmes, and engaging diverse communities.
- Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and early help approaches.
- Commitment to empowering families and communities and building lasting change.
- Experience working within a whole‑family, multi‑agency model is desirable.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is conditional upon a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
We have two roles available: one permanent and one fixed‑term until March 2029.
