Gleeson is proud to be partnered with a developing freight forwarding business looking to further expand its operation with future investment been placed into the business.nnThey are looking for a driven Road Freight Coordinator looking to take a key role in the operations team with the ability to further develop across freight forwarding – this business offers driven professionals opportunity's for further growth in skill as well as overall development.nnJob Title: Road CoordinatornLocations: Birmingham nSalary : 28-£32,000 + Bonus nDuties:nnCoordinate operations for the a warehouse and inbound flowsnPlan and manage European road freight, including UK imports/exports and EU distributionnArrange outbound EU transport and import deliveries nAct as main liaison between UK customers, German warehouse, carriers, and hauliersnPrepare and manage UK import/export customs declarationsnEnsure customs compliance and produce trade documentation (CoO, EUR1)nProactively manage operational exceptions and service disruptionsnSupport stock reconciliation across WMS, QAD, and TMS nComplete job costing, invoice validation, and customer billingnProcure freight services, prepare quotations, and manage KPIs/reportingnSupport wider multimodal freight operations as required nnIdeal Candidate:nnMinimum 1 Year of experience in a freight forwarding environment (import/export).nExperience as a Road Freight Operator or in a similar role is preferred.nExperience with Distribution via Groupage , Full loads and Exposure to Customs Clearance process'snWork within 3PL Operations / Warehouse At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
