Baby Room Leader (Level 3 Early Years Practitioner)

Location: St Werburghs, Bristol

Pay: £13.53 per hour

Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent, Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Observe, assess and monitor children’s progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate learning records and contribute to individual learning plans.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing, social development and positive behaviour.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education.
  • Follow safeguarding and child‐protection procedures at all times.
  • Support daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting and sleep routines where appropriate.
  • Contribute to outdoor learning experiences and enrichment activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
  • Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child‑protection practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, caring and professional approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
