Baby Room Leader (Level 3 Early Years Practitioner)

Pay: £13.53 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Observe, assess and monitor children’s progress and development.
- Maintain accurate learning records and contribute to individual learning plans.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
- Support children’s emotional wellbeing, social development and positive behaviour.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education.
- Follow safeguarding and child‐protection procedures at all times.
- Support daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting and sleep routines where appropriate.
- Contribute to outdoor learning experiences and enrichment activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child‑protection practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, caring and professional approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
