Account Director – Healthcare

We are looking for an exceptional Account Director with a strong healthcare background to lead a high‑profile hospital account. This pivotal leadership role will shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and build trusted partnerships that directly impact patient environments and outcomes.
The Role
As Account Director, you will act as the strategic lead and senior partner for our healthcare client, ensuring service delivery is safe, compliant, and exceptional.
You Will
- Own and deliver the long‑term strategic plan for a major healthcare account
- Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across hospital leadership teams
- Drive service excellence and continuous improvement across facilities management services
- Identify and deliver growth opportunities within the healthcare account
- Lead and inspire multi‑disciplinary operational teams
- Take full ownership of P&L performance, balancing quality care and commercial outcomes
- Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations, HSE standards, and SLAs
- Use insight, data, and analytics to inform decision‑making and improve performance

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior Account Director or facilities management leadership role within healthcare (hospital/NHS or private sector)
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and patient‑critical environments
- Demonstrated success in leading large, complex teams and multi‑service operationsCommercially astute with experience in P&L ownership and driving account growth
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence at executive and board level
- Strong commitment to health & safety leadership, with knowledge of UK regulations (NEBOSH/IOSH desirable)
