Job Title: Nursing Home Manager

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000

A well‑respected care provider is looking for a passionate and experienced nursing home manager for their 50 bed service, which is preparing to open its doors! You will be supported by a quality team to ensure you can achieve your goals! Nursing home specialising in elderly and dementia care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the nursing home.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of staff.
• Develop and manage budgets and financial plans.
• Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and care quality.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Demonstrable experience in commissioning a service / registering a service with CQC / turning a service around.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Financial management experience.
• Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Passion for person‑centred care.
• Enthusiastic and ambitious character.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification is advantageous, and management of a medium‑large nursing home.
• Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a nursing home or healthcare setting.
• Relevant management or leadership qualifications are desirable.
