Registered Home Manager

Position

Registered Care Home Manager – Richmond Villages, Cheltenham.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical responsibility for the ongoing care of residents within the care home.
• Lead and support teams to ensure safe and effective care is always provided.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards of care and maintain a safe environment for residents.
• Maintain appropriate staff levels and lead all aspects of clinical governance.
• Develop systems, processes and practices to strengthen clinical practice and resident care.
• Strategise and direct the village and build strong relationships with local authorities, CQC and Primary Care Trust commissioners as a trusted healthcare partner.

Qualifications & Skills

• Clinical background and willingness to obtain or already hold a management qualification such as the Registered Manager’s Award.
• Experience leading and developing a care setting, with comprehensive experience in elderly care.
• Approachable, confident leader who can empower team members to deliver high standards of care.
• Passionate about caring for residents and putting them at the heart of all actions.
• Ability to lead by example, share clinical knowledge on quality improvement, and cultivate an open and honest culture.
• DBS check required (cost to be covered by Bupa).
