We are recruiting for a dynamic and proactive General Sales Manager to join our client’s thriving main dealership in Horsham. We would consider experienced Sales/Business/Transaction Managers or Sales Controllers seeking progression.

General Sales Manager Role
- Lead and oversee a busy sales department—including Sales Executives, the Business Manager, and administrative team members—reporting directly to the General Manager
- Manage the team to deliver a seamless sales process while maintaining close customer engagement throughout the vehicle purchase journey
- Ensure adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards, including compliance with FCA and financial regulations
- Set and exceed targets for unit sales, finance penetration, and additional aftermarket products
- Coach, develop, and mentor the sales team, using structured training and performance management to boost individual and team effectiveness
General Sales Manager Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales/Business/Transaction Manager within a successful car dealership environment
- Full UK driving licence.
- Self‑motivated, driven, and passionate about leadership and team success in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
