Example Duties and Responsibilities
- Applications are open to engineers with at least 5 years of control systems experience.
- System design (Specifications, Drawings, Registers)
- Test and commissioning (FAT, SAT, System Migration)
- On-site implementation of systems
- Contributing to assurance and requirements traceability activities
- Experience with ABB, Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation or Siemens PLC or SCADA platforms
- Awareness of IEC 62443 is desirable
Due to the nature of Firstco’s projects, some works may be undertaken during night shifts or weekends to meet operational constraints. This will be occasional and planned, with the role predominantly weekday-based.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject or related field (applicable experience may substitute for the degree).
- Candidates must be UK residents and eligible to meet strict security vetting procedures which include references for the last 5 years.
