Remote Java Backend Engineer (6-Month Contract)

Burendo seeks a Backend Engineer (Java) on a 6-month contract inside IR35, fully remote in the UK. You will design and implement robust RESTful APIs, leverage microservices, and work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to deliver scalable software.

The role requires strong Java expertise with Spring Boot, distributed systems experience, data security, testing, and code reviews. Occasional travel to the North of England is advantageous but not required.
