About the Role
As a Youth Engagement Officer, you will design and deliver programmes that actively involve young people in meaningful activities, enhance their skills, and cultivate a strong sense of community.
Your Impact – Responsibilities
- Identify, engage and recruit new learners into the Itec Jobs Growth Wales + programme.
- Use sales, business development and marketing techniques to attract new learners.
- Establish new business partnerships and maximise existing relationships for learner opportunities.
- Actively sell and endorse Itec training products and services to attract learners.
- Drive new learner generation through calls, networking, digital activities and community outreach.
- Build effective relationships with schools and community‑based venues to attract learners.
- Work with Centre Leads and Learner Coaches to ensure seamless learner transitions.
What We’re Looking For – Essential
- Experience working with young people or a passion for making a difference.
- Strong knowledge of local networks.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration.
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
Desired Experience
- Experience within Post‑16 education or youth‑based organisations.
