Workshop Engineer (Generators)

£32,000 – £36,000 + Training + Progression + D2D Pay+ Company Van + Overtime + Workshop Based or Mobile
We are a specialist in static or mobile welfare cabins supplying nationwide to the construction industry. Starting just 20 cabins in 2014, we now operate over 700 cabins across the UK. We are looking for a Plant Engineer with diesel equipment experience to join our tight‑knit team servicing these units in a local workshop setting and on the field.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair welfare units, generators and tower lights in the workshop.
- Prepare, inspect, service and repair units.
- Carry out installation, servicing and reactive maintenance on cabin units, generators and tower lights in the field.
- Diagnose faults and restore equipment to operational status.
- Attend field breakdowns and perform PDI’s in the workshop.
- Work Monday to Friday, 8:30–17:00; overtime 5× for the first 10 hours then 2× thereafter.
Qualifications
- Experience working on diesel engines and/or generators.
- Previous plant or service engineering experience, preferably with welfare cabins or similar mobile units.
- Willingness to commute to the Bonnybridge workshop.
