Job Title: Corporate Welcome Host – Monday to Friday | Moorgate Station

Location: Near Moorgate Station, London

Salary: £33,675 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shift Pattern: 08:00 – 17:00

Holiday Entitlement: 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 21 days after one year of service)

We are looking for an exceptional Corporate Welcome Host to join our team in a prestigious corporate environment in the heart of London.

As the face of the workplace, you will be responsible for creating a memorable first impression for all visitors, clients, and building users. You will deliver world‑class guest service, provide a warm and professional welcome, and ensure every interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys engaging with people, and can confidently balance exceptional customer service with important security and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Welcome

  • Deliver outstanding guest service and create memorable first impressions for all visitors and clients.
  • Host the lobby and welcome areas in line with site standards and operating procedures.
  • Build rapport with guests and, where possible, remember and refer to them by name.
  • Engage with visitors beyond the initial greeting to create a positive and lasting impression.
  • Promptly communicate visitor arrivals to the relevant contacts and ensure timely guest management.
  • Keep waiting visitors informed of any delays and ensure their comfort at all times.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, solution‑focused approach to guest requests and enquiries.
  • Consistently uphold Bennett Hay guest service standards.

Reception & Visitor Management

  • Meet and greet all visitors in accordance with Bennett Hay service standards and site security protocols.
  • Manage visitor sign‑in procedures and issue visitor passes where required.
  • Maintain accurate visitor management records and administrative systems.
  • Monitor staff sign‑in procedures when security passes have been forgotten.
  • Support security procedures, including visitor screening and bag checks where applicable.
  • Assist couriers and delivery personnel in line with site security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation.

Security & Compliance

  • Remain vigilant and security‑conscious at all times.
  • Support building security procedures, including awareness of tailgating, penetration testing, lockdown procedures, fire evacuations, bomb threat protocols, and emergency response processes.
  • Work closely with the security team to ensure all procedures are followed correctly.
  • Report any security concerns, incidents, accidents, near misses, or operational issues promptly.

Customer Service & Relationship Building

  • Act as a key point of contact for service partners, building users, visitors, and customers.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and approachable manner at all times.
  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Support colleagues and wider site operations when required as part of a one‑team approach.
  • Ensure all communication is professional, consistent, and delivered in a timely manner.

Presentation & Housekeeping

  • Ensure reception and welcome areas remain clean, tidy, and presentable throughout the day.
  • Conduct visual checks of public areas and report housekeeping concerns as required.
  • Take a proactive approach to identifying and escalating faults or maintenance issues.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 1–2 years’ experience in hospitality, guest services, reception, customer service, or a similar client‑facing role.

  • Confidence engaging with a wide range of guests, visitors, and building users.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Security Awareness

  • Understanding of ACT (Action Counters Terrorism) principles and security awareness terminology.
  • Appreciation of security procedures and the importance of vigilance within a corporate environment.
