Calibration Engineer (Electrical/ RF)

Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated Calibration Engineers to join our teams, based in Yateley. As a RF Calibration Engineer, you will undertake calibrations both ISO9001/17025 accredited and UKAS compliant, calibrating measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good metrology practice.
• Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately.
• Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits.
• Handle technical enquiries and liaise with clients when necessary.
• Produce, develop and audit automated and manual calibration procedures for use within the laboratory.
• Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues in line with capability.
• Interpret specifications and technical drawings to support calibration activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an RF Calibration Engineer.
• Inspection or calibration experience in manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sector.
• Technical qualification such as degree, HND or HNC is ideal.
• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.
• Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
