Orchards Church of England Academy is part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT) and is seeking to appoint a full-time Class Teacher. Payscale: Mainscale. 100% of a full week. Commencing: September 2026.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

  • Have experience of working as a Class Teacher in a primary school
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
  • Have a “can-do” attitude and the ability to use your initiative
  • Be able to work flexibly and professionally

About Role

We are looking for an experienced Class Teacher to join our team, working 100% per week. The purpose of this role is to work alongside colleagues in planning, preparing and supporting the teaching and learning of all pupils in your care.
