As a Compliance Coordinator for our prestigious Rolls‑Royce account in Derby, you will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory excellence and operational compliance within one of the UK’s most sophisticated engineering environments. This position combines traditional compliance oversight with the unique requirements of supporting a world‑class manufacturing and engineering facility, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and corporate governance requirements specific to the aerospace and defence sectors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain compliance documentation for health and safety, environmental, and operational requirements specific to aerospace manufacturing facilities.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure JLL’s service delivery meets all contractual and statutory obligations.
- Schedule maintenance visits and liaise with JLL colleagues and sub‑contractors.
- Maintain and update compliance databases using Excel.
- Assist colleagues to track compliance metrics, audit results, and regulatory updates.
- Prepare compliance reports and presentations using PowerPoint for senior stakeholders, clearly communicating compliance status and recommended actions.
- Support CAFM Maintenance Management system administration, working with managers to ensure accurate compliance and reporting, including adding new assets and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, decommissioning assets and PM schedules, and amending PM schedule dates and frequencies.
- Occasionally attend the Derby campus with JLL colleagues to assist with asset capture and recording.
- Liaise with external auditors, inspectors, and certification bodies, managing visit schedules and ensuring all required documentation is readily available.
- Support business finance activities such as creation of PO requests and receipting invoices.
- Assist the wider team with specific requests.
Qualifications
- Experience in an administration role, preferably within facilities management, manufacturing, or a regulated industry environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data‑analysis capabilities).
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with CAFM, planned maintenance, building assets, and capital planning is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to maintain accurate records and identify potential compliance issues proactively.
- Experience scheduling maintenance attendance or similar is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once fully trained, demonstrating self‑motivation and reliable judgment in compliance matters.
- Knowledge of basic business finance, including PO creation, invoicing, and receipting, is an advantage.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives, regulatory officials, and operational teams.
- Proven ability to remain calm and maintain accuracy under pressure, particularly during audits, inspections, or urgent compliance situations.
