Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Uniform Room Attendant to join the pre-opening team for the highly anticipated luxury hotel opening later this year.

As part of the founding team, you will help shape the guest experience and support laundry & uniform operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect uniforms for cleanliness, condition, and presentation, and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Provide operational support to the laundry function to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Carry out wash cycles, fold linen, and store items in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Liaise with external laundry suppliers and dry cleaners regarding quality requirements.
  • Manage the uniform deposit system in coordination with the Finance department.
  • Control issuance and return of uniforms for new and existing staff.
  • Conduct uniform stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain agreed stock levels consistently.
  • Correctly separate, store, and dispose of soiled or damaged linen in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the linen room and uniform store.
  • Report maintenance concerns and potential hazards promptly.
  • Comply with hotel security procedures, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.

  • Previous experience within a laundry or linen operation (advantage).
  • Experience in a uniform or wardrobe focused role (advantage).
  • Basic sewing or garment repair skills (advantage).
