Job Overview
Family Time Service in Lincolnshire is offering a part‑time position (24 hours) based at Grantham Family Centre. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a successful team to improve outcomes for children and families.
Responsibilities
- Supervise family time between children and their parents or family where children are subject to court proceedings and no longer in the care of their parents.
- Demonstrate a clear awareness of safeguarding children.
- Complete an accurate report after each session, requiring good recording and IT skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals to promote and model good quality family time.
- Promote the best interests of the child, drawing on knowledge of child development, attachment, separation and risk management.
- Work across various locations, requiring use of a car and a current clean driving licence.
- Work Monday to Friday afternoons until 6:30 pm to cover after‑school needs, with some weekend work on a rota basis.
Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated awareness of safeguarding children.
- Good IT and recording skills.
- Ability to converse comfortably in accurate spoken English as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty).
