Job Summary
Systems Administrator, 3rd Line Support Engineer, SQL Server Administration, Microsoft, Windows – Burton on Trent – up to £40k + benefits. This role focuses on support, implementation, training of a client’s specialist software offerings based on SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and resolve software and database issues.
- Install and configure software and databases; deliver support, training, and documentation to global customers.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years’ system administration experience in a similar role.
- Strong SQL Server and Windows knowledge.
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., ITIL).
- Client‑facing experience highly desirable.
- Strong problem‑solving aptitude and attention to detail.
Salary & Benefits
Up to £40k per annum + benefits. Primarily based in Burton upon Trent with occasional travel to client sites. Easily commutable from the West Midlands area, Birmingham, Stafford, Walsall, Derby, Loughborough and Leicester.
