An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded disputes team in Leeds. Working with major corporate clients and public sector bodies across the UK, you will advise on complex, high value litigation matters across a diverse range of sectors while developing your career within a large international law firm.

Description

  • Managing a varied caseload of high value commercial litigation matters
  • Advising major corporate clients and public sector organisations across the UK
  • Handling complex contractual disputes from inception through to resolution
  • Advising on IT and technology related disputes
  • Working on procurement and public sector disputes
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and key legal documentation
  • Working closely with partners and senior lawyers
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development and client engagement activities

Profile

  • A solicitor with between 1 and 3 years PQE
  • Experienced in commercial litigation and strong academics
  • Comfortable handling complex and high value disputes
  • Able to demonstrate strong drafting and analytical skillsCommercially aware with a client focused approach
  • Capable of managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • A strong communicator with excellent relationship building skills
  • Motivated to develop their career within a large international law firm

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £68,000 to £77,000 per annum.
  • Comprehensive pension scheme with a 5% employer contribution.
