About the Role
Aspiring Occupational Therapist – Learning Support Assistant – Maidenhead. This specialist provision supports students with emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), SEMH needs, and complex emotional challenges. The setting offers a small, nurturing environment focused on rebuilding confidence, trust, and emotional safety to enable gradual return to learning.
Pay: £108 per dayHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pmContract: Full‑time, Term‑time only
Responsibilities
- Support young people who have struggled in mainstream education due to anxiety and depression, trauma, and negative school experiences.
- Rebuild students’ confidence, trust, and emotional safety through consistent and supportive engagement.
- Implement personalised learning approaches and relationship‑building strategies.
- Focus on emotional regulation and development of coping skills.
Start Dates
- June / July 2026
