About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Support Staff member to join our primary department in Stratford-upon-Avon starting September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, supporting their learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with additional needs in their learning and daily activities.
- Assist in delivering individualised learning plans and classroom support.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to promote pupil progress.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting observations to teachers and SEN coordinators.
Pre-requisites
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is desirable but not essential.
