Job Description
We are seeking multi-skilled Gate and Barrer Engineers to join our expanding team, working across London, the East, and South of England, with occasional UK-wide travel. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and fault finding of a wide range of security and access control systems.nnThis position is ideal for engineers from the security industry or those with a multi-skilled maintenance background (electrical bias), looking to develop within a specialist and high-profile sector.nnKey Responsibilities:nn * Installation of gates, barriers, turnstiles, road blockers, bollards, and associated systemsnn * Fault finding, repair, and preventative maintenancenn * Working on control systems including PLCs, hydraulics, and electrical circuitrynn * Delivering high-quality work across a variety of client sites, including critical infrastructurenn * Completing job reports and liaising professionally with clients on-sitennRequirements:nn * Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical fault-finding abilitynn * Experience with hydraulics, PLCs, and control systems (preferred)nn * Background in security systems or maintenance engineering (manufacturing considered)nn * Possible time-served apprenticeship (electrical/mechanical advantageous)nn * Computer literatenn * Full UK driving licencenn * Willingness to travel UK-wide and participate in a call-out rota (1 week in 5–6)nn * Ability to obtain SC clearance due to high-profile clients (e.g. government/CPNI sites).nnWhat We Offer:nn * Starting salary of £37,500 – £40,000 DOEnn * Realistic earnings of £45,000 – £60,000+ with overtime and door-to-door paynn * Paid door-to-door travelnn * Company van and fuel cardnn * Laptop, iPad, and mobile phonenn * Uniform, PPE, power tools, and specialist equipment provided (engineers to supply own hand tools)nn * 23 days holiday + bank holidaysnn * Standard hours 08:00 – 16:30 (flexibility required between 06:00 – 18:00)nn * Ongoing training and development opportunitiesnn * nnIf you are a reliable, adaptable engineer looking for a varied role with strong earning potential, we’d like to hear from you.nnAbout Marble TalentnAs engineering recruitment specialists, we pride ourselves on the ability to turn aspiring candidates at the beginning, middle or towards the end of their engineering careers into successful, professional engineers place at the right companies.
