Overview

Access Control Officer role: ensures consistent service delivery at the Site’s Access Control hub. Serve as first point of contact for Visitors, Contractors, and Clients, ensure correct levels of access granted, follow escalation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide access to site visitors, clients and contractors using C-Cure 900 & VM Easy.
  • Maintain full compliance with operational instructions (alarm responses, building access, production reporting, escalation to Corps Security and on‑site management).
  • Create clear, logical operational reports within required timeframes.
  • Be conversant with site systems and procedures, support Corps Security and site management in identifying and implementing service improvements.
  • Stay informed of all changes in building occupiers, set up and production, ensuring information is circulated appropriately.
  • Ensure safety and security through operation of integrated security systems.
  • Liaise with external authorities including police.
  • Respond to major/minor incidents: medical incidents, fire alarms/evacuations, crisis and response.
  • Perform other admin duties as deemed necessary by DSMs, supervisors or clients.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role and organisation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential.
  • Knowledge of Access Control Software – preferably C‑Cure 9000.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, work under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
  • Flexible to work various hours covering days and nights.
