Static Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Canary WharfnnWe’re currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Shift Engineer to join a professional landlord-side engineering team across a prestigious commercial building in Canary Wharf.nnThe RolennYou’ll be part of a dedicated on-site engineering team responsible for maintaining landlord systems within a large commercial building. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, traditional engineering environment, with a strong focus on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault finding rather than working on brand-new, warranty-covered equipment.nnKey DetailsnnLarge commercial property environment (landlord side)nTeam of 8 engineers, split into 2 teams of 4nShift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (7am–7pm)nAlways working in pairs for safety and efficiencynAdditional mobile team supporting tenant-related issuesnResponsibilitiesnnCarry out planned preventative maintenance PPM as tasked by building coordinator.nFault finding and remedial works across electrical and mechanical plantnEnsure all systems operate safely and efficientlynRespond to reactive maintenance tasksnWork collaboratively within a structured engineering teamnRequirementsnnElectrically qualified – NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 1 & 2, or equivalentn18th Edition Wiring RegulationsnExperience within commercial building maintenancenStrong fault-finding ability and practical mindsetnReliable, team-focused, and proactivenPackagennSalary: £49,026 with 3% shift allowancenOvertime availablen25 days holiday + bank with additional buy and sell schemesnPrivate pension contributionnBupa healthcare schemenFull Uniform, PPE and Specialist Tools providednYearly salary increasesnYearly Bonus Schemesn20% discount on all food across Canary WharfnSupport learning development for all engineersnEnhance parental leave, sick pay and compassionate leavenTo apply, please send a copy of your most updated CV
