We’re working with welcoming primary schools in Hartlepool looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Whether you’re ready to start immediately or you’re planning ahead for a September start, we’ve got full-time opportunities waiting.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to build confidence and understanding
- Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management
- Encouraging every child to reach their full potential
What you’ll need
- Experience supporting children in a UK primary classroom
- Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
- A positive, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
