Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you will provide person‑centred care to older adults across Durham/Middlesbrough/Hartlepool/Gateshead, helping them regain independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Personal care
• Meal preparation and basic cooking
• Light household tasks
• Food shopping
• Companionship and emotional support

Qualifications & Requirements

• No experience needed – full training provided
• Full UK driving licence, own car and business insurance for travel
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered)
• Ability to work AM/PM shifts and alternate weekends
• Good English communication skills

Ideal Candidate

We welcome applicants from any background. If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or within the NHS we would love to hear from you. If you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from sectors such as retail sales assistants, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionists, administrators, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
