Pay: £13.12 per hour (plus holiday pay and 30% enhancement for nights and weekends) plus other competitive benefits.
About the role
This role is based within our friendly and supportive Hospice at Home (community team) and involves visiting people in their own homes to provide support when they need it most.
Shift times
- 07:30 – 15:30
- 14:00 – 22:00
- 20:00 – 07:00
Use of EV Pool Cars (subject to availability).
Responsibilities
- Promote choice in the delivery of care and support.
- Review and make suggestions to enhance the service users’ experience.
- Observe service users’ conditions and report changes.
- Support service users to have their views and experiences considered in the way the service is provided and delivered.
About you
You are a dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant with sound clinical skills, a real drive to improve the lives of those living with life‑limiting conditions, and a minimum of 1 year’s experience in a UK‑based health or social care role.
Minimum Essential Criteria
- Full UK driving licence (International licence does not meet the requirements).
- Ability to assess and adapt care to meet individuals’ needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification is strongly preferred; applicants with substantial relevant experience are welcome.
- Awareness of person‑centred and inclusive care principles.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience delivering lone working care.
- Confidence in using digital care documentation tools.
